Tournament Key Hands Review

With poker quickly becoming a sport, it is important that players can look back at the important hands in a particular tournament, study them and then improve their game and in future play the same way or make changes to make sure that they become a more successful player.

Using the Key Hands Review

The key hands review gives a player a graphical view of the key plays of the tournament, as well as the key moves that went wrong throughout a tournament.

Winning hand chip amounts are displayed in green and to the right of the community cards. All losing amounts are shown in red and are shown to the left of the of the community cards.

Any hand where a player wins or loses more than 33% of their stack will be displayed in the Key Hand review.

The Key Hand review will improve your game through the following means :

• You can quickly see the strength of the hands you lost
• You can quickly see the 'turning point' of the tournament
• You can see where you have played well and of course where it has all gone wrong

Look For Common Mistakes

There are lots of mistakes in poker that players simply don't realise they are making. Did you play your pocket jacks or A-9 out of position as if they were a premium hand. Did you over value a top pair or flush draw with this tool its simple to stop those mistakes that cost you chips and ultimately your chance to win the tournament.

Did You Lose? Where Did It All Go Wrong?

Pay close attention to the losing hands. Did you make a mistake that simply cost you too many chips and then you were forced to go all in? When the chips went in where you an underdog or was it the correct play and you just got unlucky?

Use The Detailed Hand History

Whether a hand is played well or not may not be easy to see just seeing the hole cards and the community cards. It is important to know which position you are in, your starting chips, your opponents starting chips, the current blinds, whether you were the first to raise or you called. These are all very important factors and can be found in the hand history file situated on the left hand side.

If you Key hands review has only one hand in it, the one you lost on, think about your hands during the tournament - were you aggressive enough or did you play well and build your stack slowly?
